This policy explains what personal information EightySix Digital collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. EightySix Digital is a digital marketing business run by Stu Clark, based in Christchurch, New Zealand, working with clients in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you fill in a contact or enquiry form, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
• Usage information. When you visit the site we may collect standard analytics data, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.
• Advertising information. If you consent, we may use cookies to measure the performance of, and to show, Google Ads campaigns.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide our services.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• To measure and improve our advertising, where you have consented.

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We group them as:

• Essential — needed for the site to work. These are always on.
• Analytics — Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager), to understand site usage.
• Advertising — Google Ads, to measure and personalise ads.

We use Google Consent Mode. If you are in the UK or the EEA, analytics and advertising cookies are switched off by default until you accept them. Elsewhere they are on by default, and you can opt out at any time. Essential cookies do not require consent.

Who we share information with

We use trusted third parties to run the site and our marketing. These include:

• Google (Analytics, Ads and Tag Manager) — see Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Formspree — processes contact-form submissions.
• Vercel — hosts the website.

We do not sell your personal information.

Legal basis (UK/EU visitors)

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on your consent for analytics and advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interests (and steps to enter into a contract) to respond to enquiries you send us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email stu@eightysix.digital. UK/EU residents may also complain to their local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Data retention

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with your request and for our legitimate business records, then delete it. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to Google’s settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
